Universities of applied sciences and universities charge a tuition fee from Bachelor’s or Master’s level students studying in languages other than Finnish or Swedish.
EU/EEA area and Swiss citizens are not subject to the charge. Read more on tuition fees.

Where to study?

You can apply for most of the Bachelor’s level studies conducted in English in joint application to higher education. In joint application you apply to all your study programme choices with one application form.

Note that Bachelor’s level studies conducted in English are mainly provided by UAS. There are a few Bachelor’s level studies conducted in English in universities.

When to apply?

10 January 8 am to 25 January 3 pm (UTC/GMT + 2)
Application period 1

Bachelor programmes at the Universities of Applied Sciences conducted in English
Bachelor and Master programmes at the universities conducted in English
University of the Arts

15 March 8 am (UTC/GMT + 2) to 5 April 3 pm (UTC/GMT + 3)
Application period 2

Most Bachelor and Master programmes at the Universities of Applied Sciences and at the universities conducted in Finnish or Swedish

You can apply up to six (6) study programmes and you can choose study programmes from both application periods. Please note that the same study programmes are not offered on both application times.
