The first results in the joint application to higher education have been published. The higher education institutions will publish results according to their own timetables during spring.
All results will be published on 4 June 2021 at the latest.

University of applied sciences (UAS) Master’s degree

UASes offer a number of UAS Master’s degrees – these are mainly targeted for those already in the working life. The UAS Master’s degree is equivalent to a university Master’s degree in the labour market.

Who can apply?

Qualified to apply for the Master’s Degree is a person who

  • already has a Bachelor’s Degree or other higher education degree and
  • has a minimum of two years of work experience

In hands and crafts, communications and fine arts, theatre, dance and music the work experience can be replaced with artistic activities or achievements.

The overall structure of degree programmes

UAS Master’s degrees consist of 60 or 90 ECTS credits and take about 1,5−2 years to accomplish. The studies comprise of advanced professional studies, elective studies and a final thesis (Master’s thesis).

The UAS plan the content of the degree programmes themselves. Thus, programmes with the same name may consist of different study modules and units at different UAS.
