Do you want to be an entrepreneur?

An entrepreneur is always an expert of a field. Entrepreneurs’ most important skills are expert knowledge of their own field as it is with paid labour. Entrepreneurs have turned their skills into a profession where they are also their own employers. In addition to possessing necessary competence skills, an entrepreneur needs to have the skills to operate as an entrepreneur.

The starting point of a business is a clear concept of operation on which the entrepreneurs build their business idea and business plan. The business operates on this business idea and stands out from the competitors on the market.

If you are interested in becoming an entrepreneur, several trainings include entrepreneurship studies and during these studies you can receive entrepreneurship training. You can start your own business already during your studies and learn the skills necessary to run a business.

Entrepreneurship training and entrepreneurial career coaching concentrates on the basic ideas of entrepreneurship as well as developing and carrying out your business idea and business plan in practice. The training lays the foundation for entrepreneurship.

You can get training

  • alongside vocational or other education
  • by completing an entrepreneur degree
  • on entrepreneur courses
  • by self-studying
  • at work
  • from other entrepreneurs
  • by acquiring your own experiences
  • from financial administration.

Training is mostly offered in Finnish, but there are some English-language training programmes as well.
