If you are planning to come to Finland

If you are interested in coming to study in Finland, start by reading these instructions on visas and student residence permits, finances and choosing your studies.

Best way to start is by consulting either your current adviser of studies or Study in Finland website on how to proceed after your current studies. Applying only takes place on certain application times and you must have all the necessary documents and certificates ready at that time.

You can study as an exchange student or complete a whole degree. In the latter case, you can apply for a Bachelor’s degree, Master’s degree, or Bacheror’s + Master’s degree (in university). The comparability of your previous studies with your studies in Finland will be decided by the higher education institution you are applying to.
