Admission results for the joint Application 2020 for higher education (study programmes offered in English) are ready.

If you have been admitted to a study programme, you will receive a notification of this to your email.

Please note that you can confirm only one study place per academic term. Confirm the study place by 17 July by 3 pm (UTC/GMT +3).

 

Higher education institutes organize supplementary applications during July and August. In these applications, you can apply to degree programmes where the applicant quota was not filled.

Natural Sciences

With a qualification in the field of Natural Sciences (basic vocational qualification, vocational qualification and special vocational qualification) you will gain the competencies needed in work positions that work in an environment close to nature. You can work in tasks in the field of environmental care and versatile utilisation of nature. Bioindustries provide new economic possibilities in the field.

Where to work and what to do? 

The field of Natural Sciences provide work in, for example, environmental care, nature tourism and reindeer husbandry in rural areas of the country. If you decide to specialise in nature and environment guidance, you can work for various organisation, nature schools and wellness companies. The field is also somewhat dependent on entrepreneurs. New challenges in the field include nature tourism and the marketing and productisation of natural products.

Requirements: As a professional in the field of Natural Sciences you will have a strong competence in the sustainable use of nature and environment.

Admission: You can apply to basic vocational education either in the spring joint application or in the flexible admission throughout the year. You can apply to all vocational qualifications via the flexible admission.
