Universities of applied sciences and universities charge a tuition fee from Bachelor’s or Master’s level students studying in languages other than Finnish or Swedish.

Transport Services

The field of Transport Services include actions related to the maintenance, repairs and services of air, road and maritime transport. Efficiency, safety, reliability and service quality are essential in the field. In some of the field’s professions international legislation is implemented.

Where to work and what to do? Tasks in the field are extremely versatile. Professionals in the sector work in tasks related to servicing, repairing or selling machines and equipment or transport of goods and passengers. Professionals in the sector are employed by car and car accessory dealers, repair shops, transport operators, trade, industry, airlines, airports, the Air Force, shipping companies and ports.

Requirements in the field: Professions in this field require not only technical or logistic skills but also a service-oriented approach and skills relevant to internationalisation and sustainable development.

Some qualifications in the field have special health requirements.

Admission: You can apply to basic vocational education either in the spring joint application or in the flexible admission throughout the year. You can apply to all vocational qualifications via the flexible admission.
